Showtime is an American premium cable and satellite television network that serves as the flagship service of the Showtime Networks, Inc., a subsidiary of CBS Corporation. Showtime's programming primarily includes theatrically released motion pictures and original television series, along with boxing and mixed martial art matches, occassional stand-up comedy specials and made-for-TV movies. Showtime was launched on July 1, 1976.
