Dr. Tyler is a fictional character played by Rex Robinson in the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who appearing in the programme from December 1972 to January 1973.
An inhabitant of 70's London, he appeared only in fourth episodes.
Character history
Dr. Tyler was a scientist who researched cosmic rays. His monitoring device accidentally picked up one of Omega's Gell guard, which transported him to Omega's anti-matter universe. After the crisis ended, he was safely returned to Earth. He accompagned during this travel the Second Doctor, the Third Doctor, Sergeant Benton, Jo Grant and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart.
