A fictional electronic musical instrument which appears in the novel The Shockwave Rider by John Brunner.
The computer-controlled instrument generates invisible columns of weak microwaves. A group of players, known as a coley group, dances within the performance space. By interrupting the microwave beams, the players generate various tones.
